There are various methods of shading when it comes to manga, if your planning to draw a series well this wont be a problem, in issues of manga shading is actually hard to come by but if your drawing something like a sketch or a single image this is a crucial factor.
1) Shading with slanted pencil
Make sure you have a sharpened light pencil with a long point slant it and start shading but there is a problem the shading will be really rough and it will be hard to manage
2) Shading with finger
This is like the second step of the above after u shade a littler with the pencil use your index finger (preferably) to rub round it in all directions till you get a blurish shade. this shade is much smoother but hard to complete
ex- completed art of Naruto girls using this shading method
3)Shading inwards.
In this kind of shading it is used to emphasize dark characters. use any shading methods and leave the background white as possible and if the shade appears around the char just simply erase it

ex- Hyuga Neji /Minato Namkaze ( inward shade )
4) Shading With Eraser's
The other type of shading would be erasers! . but for this to work you must be good at all the other mentioned ones. this technique is used especially to draw light objects such as fire, and make features of their body show such as hair and teeth. after the shading is done simply bring the eraser around the needed areas
ex Uchiha Sasuke using chidori-
And if you can manage to do these shadings you would be able to come across some like these bellow.
note: you won't get anything done unless your willing to sit for hours and try for your self; remember patience is a virtue.
